Roles & Responsibilities

• Greet patients warmly and prepare them for exam — make every visit feel smooth and respectful
• Obtain and record vital signs and basic patient history accurately
• Assist providers with clinical tasks and procedures as needed
• Perform routine point-of-care testing and basic lab duties following protocols
• Maintain clean, stocked exam rooms and ensure equipment is ready
• Document patient encounters and updates in the EHR in a timely manner
• Coordinate patient flow and communicate clearly with the care team to keep clinics running efficiently

Qualifications

• Active CMA (Certified Medical Assistant) credential required
• High school diploma or GED required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred or able to obtain
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced outpatient clinic environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and team members

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• Certified Medical Assistant credential (required)

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient with vital signs, basic clinical procedures, and point-of-care testing
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) documentation
• Excellent patient communication and customer service skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Basic phlebotomy experience a plus
