Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional patient care to adult and geriatric populations, ensuring safety and positive outcomes during cardiovascular procedures
• Provide holistic support addressing physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs in a surgical environment
• Collaborate closely with physicians, giving timely updates before, during, and after procedures
• Prepare and maintain procedure rooms, ensuring all equipment is calibrated and ready
• Manage supplies and inventory, gathering case-specific materials for efficient workflow
• Monitor physiologic and hemodynamic data during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, responding quickly to changes
• Continuously assess and document patient condition in the Cardiovascular Lab
• Support quality initiatives and participate in performance improvement activities

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nursing (RN) license in Illinois (required)
• Current BLS (AHA) and ACLS certifications upon hire and maintained
• At least one year of hands-on clinical experience in a Cardiovascular Lab or Critical Care environment
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred but not required

Education

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
