Shift Type: 4x10-hour shifts (6:30 AM - 5:30 PM) or 5x8-hour shifts (6:30 AM - 2:30 PM), plus 10-15 on-call shifts per month for STEMI/Stroke Coverage

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $84 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
• Monitor patients' hemodynamic status and administer medications during procedures
• Assist physicians with balloon angioplasty, stent placement, and other interventions
• Provide pre- and post-procedure education and care to patients and families
• Maintain sterile field and ensure safety protocols are followed

Qualifications

• Current RN license in New Jersey or compact state
• BLS, ACLS, and DCI/BVP certifications required
• NIHSS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab experience preferred
• Ability to pass pharmacology and rhythm interpretation exams

Knowledge & Skills

• Expert knowledge of cardiac catheterization procedures and equipment
• Proficiency in EKG and hemodynamic monitoring interpretation
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills in high-pressure situations
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
