Roles & Responsibilities

• Support and prepare the EP and cath lab for procedures, ensuring equipment and supplies are ready and functioning
• Operate and assist with imaging and mapping systems such as Philips, GE, Carto, and Ensite during procedures
• Perform stimming procedures and provide expert technical support for electrophysiology studies and ablations
• Assist the clinical team during LHC/PCI, TAVR and EP Study Ablation cases, maintaining sterile technique
• Monitor and document patient status using Meditech and GE Mac Lab, ensuring accurate procedure records
• Collaborate proactively with physicians, RNs, and techs to coordinate patient care and optimize throughput
• Maintain procedural rooms, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure compliance with safety protocols
• Communicate clearly with patients and families, providing reassurance and procedural instructions as needed

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
• Electrophysiology (EP) experience required, specifically with stimming
• Prior experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Technician or in a cardiac cath/EP environment
• Familiarity with procedures such as LHC/PCI, TAVR, and EP Study Ablation (preferred)
• Experience with Philips, GE, Carto, Ensite imaging/mapping systems and Meditech/GE Mac Lab EMRs
• Flexible, team-oriented personality — a great cultural fit for a fast-paced cath/EP unit

Knowledge & Skills

• In-depth knowledge of Electrophysiology (EP) workflows and stimming techniques
• Proficiency with Philips and GE imaging systems, Carto and Ensite mapping platforms
• Comfortable using Meditech and GE Mac Lab for documentation and case tracking
• Strong procedural support skills for cath lab and EP cases (prep, sterile technique, equipment troubleshooting)
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and situational awareness in procedural settings
