Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization, angioplasty, and stent placement procedures
• Monitor and record patient hemodynamic data and vital signs throughout procedures
• Prepare and maintain sterile field and catheterization equipment
• Administer contrast media and medications as directed
• Provide compassionate patient care and education before, during, and after procedures
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Qualifications

• Current ARRT-R certification or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) required
• BLS (AHA) certification required at hire
• ACLS certification required within 30 days of hire
• Previous experience in a Cardiovascular Lab preferred
• Graduate of a cardiovascular technologist training program with emphasis in invasive cardiology and hemodynamic monitoring preferred
• Proficient computer skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Cardiovascular lab experience and hemodynamic monitoring
• Strong understanding of cardiac anatomy and physiology
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure situations
