Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic vascular ultrasound studies including ABI, carotid, renal, aortic, abdominal, venous and arterial exams with accuracy and compassion
• Conduct duplex and lower extremity reflux studies, ensuring high-quality images and measurements
• Operate GE ultrasound systems confidently and maintain equipment readiness
• Document findings and maintain patient records in MediTech Expanse in a timely, professional manner
• Collaborate with physicians and the radiology team to support clinical decision-making
• Provide clear patient education and compassionate care throughout exams
• Manage a solo caseload independently, prioritize studies, and adjust workflows as needed
• Participate in on-call rotations (every other weekend) and provide reliable coverage when scheduled

Qualifications

• Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) — required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) — required
• Must be registered in the state of New Hampshire (NH) — required
• Minimum 2 years of relevant vascular sonography experience
• RDMS credential — preferred
• Experience with GE ultrasound systems and MediTech Expanse EMR — preferred
• Comfortable learning pTCO2 (training available) and adaptable to unit protocols

Knowledge & Skills

• Vascular ultrasound techniques including duplex imaging and waveform analysis
• ABI testing and interpretation
• Lower extremity reflux and venous/arterial study protocols
• Carotid, renal, aortic and abdominal ultrasound procedures
• Skilled use of GE ultrasound equipment and transducers
• Clinical documentation in MediTech Expanse EMR
• Strong communication, patient-centered care, and ability to work independently
• Ability to manage complex schedules and prioritize a 1:1 patient workload
