Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare the cath lab and equipment for diagnostic and interventional procedures
• Assist physicians and the clinical team during cardiac catheterization and related procedures
• Ensure strict sterile technique and maintain a safe, clean procedural environment
• Monitor and document patient status, procedural details, and equipment usage
• Perform routine equipment checks, troubleshooting, and inventory management
• Follow infection control practices and complete required health screenings and vaccinations
• Participate in quality improvement and safety initiatives to improve patient care

Qualifications

• BLS certification (required)
• Successful completion of the Trinity Skills Checklist
• License/Certificate Verification as applicable by state and facility
• Completion of required health screenings: Fit Test, Trinity 10 Panel Drug Screen, Respirator Evaluation
• Up-to-date immunizations as listed by the facility (COVID-19, Influenza, MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, PPD/IGRA)
• Prior cath lab or interventional radiology experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and ability to work collaboratively under pressure

Knowledge & Skills

• Familiarity with cath lab procedural flow and instrumentation
• Understanding of sterile technique and infection control
• Comfort with patient monitoring and basic hemodynamic data
• Ability to follow checklists and documentation requirements (Trinity checklist)
• Good teamwork and communication skills in fast-paced clinical settings
• Basic troubleshooting of procedural and monitoring equipment
