Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional post-anesthesia care to patients recovering from surgery
Monitor vital signs and assess patient status with precision and compassion
Administer medications and interventions to ensure smooth recoveries
Collaborate with surgical teams to deliver seamless patient handoffs
Educate patients and families on post-op care for confident discharges

Qualifications

Active RN license in Louisiana
PACU or critical care nursing experience preferred
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Strong assessment skills in a fast-paced recovery setting

Education

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in post-anesthesia patient monitoring
Proficiency with recovery room protocols and equipment
Excellent communication for patient and team interactions
Quick thinking in emergent recovery situations
