Shift Type: 12.5-hour shifts, flexible per diem scheduling

Candidate Pay Rate: $47 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional post-anesthesia care to patients recovering from surgery
Monitor vital signs and assess patient status with precision and compassion
Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure smooth transitions and optimal outcomes
Administer medications and interventions to promote swift recovery
Educate patients and families on post-op care for confident discharges

Qualifications

Active RN license in Louisiana
PACU experience preferred but enthusiasm to learn welcome
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Strong clinical skills and a patient-first mindset

Education

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in post-anesthesia recovery protocols
Proficiency in monitoring and emergency response
Excellent communication for team coordination and patient reassurance
Adaptability in a fast-paced recovery environment
