Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 36 Hour guarantee, Every Other Weekend, No On-Call

Hours per Week: 60

Candidate Pay Rate: $59 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
Make judgments based on scientific knowledge and clinical skills
Assist in planning, directing, and teaching non-RN staff

Qualifications

2+ years of experience
Post-operative open heart care experience
Critical Care experience (highly preferred)
Chest tube and other drain management experience
Active American Heart Association BLS and ACLS
Active Ohio RN License or Compact RN License

Education

Current Skills Checklist, pertinent to PCU
Nursys showing Active Ohio/OH or Compact RN License

Knowledge & Skills

Advanced knowledge of cardiac and pulmonary abnormalities
Cardiac monitoring and rhythm interpretation
Non-invasive ventilation (NIV) devices and high-flow oxygen
Management of temporary pacers and pericardial pacing wires
