Location: Des Moines, IA

Start Date: 07-27-2026

End Date: 01-24-2027

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, every other weekend, holidays every other

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to patients in Med/Surg and Telemetry units
Monitor patient vital signs and telemetry rhythms
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team for optimal patient outcomes
Document patient progress and response to interventions

Qualifications

Active RN license in Iowa or compact state
Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg or Telemetry experience
BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications required
Ability to work night shifts and every other weekend

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking
Excellent communication and teamwork
Proficient telemetry monitoring and interpretation
Time management skills in fast-paced environment
