Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Night shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM with block scheduling including weekends

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $46 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Rapidly assess and triage high-acuity patients to make life-saving decisions
Deliver expert ED nursing care across all triage levels with confidence
Support airway management and intubation in critical moments
Perform phlebotomy, splinting, wound care and laceration repair assistance
Monitor moderate sedation and lead cardiac monitoring and code responses
Collaborate seamlessly in a small high-functioning team to save the day

Qualifications

Active RN license with at least 1 year of ED experience
Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, ENPC and TNCC
Ready to float to nearby FSED or main campus ED as needed

Education

RN licensure required

Knowledge & Skills

Strong ED clinical judgment and critical thinking skills
Expert triage abilities in low-resource settings
Independence with stellar teamwork and communication
Familiarity with Meditech EMR
Bonus points for bilingual English/Spanish, FSED experience and point-of-care testing
