Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patients' respiratory status
• Develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans
• Administer oxygen therapy and mechanical ventilation
• Educate patients and families on breathing techniques
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Document all interventions and progress in electronic medical records

Qualifications

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license or equivalent
• BLS certification
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

• Respiratory therapy equipment and techniques
• Patient assessment and monitoring

• Pulmonary function testing
• Infection control practices
• Electronic medical record proficiency
