Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and periodontal assessments
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices
• Take and interpret dental radiographs
• Maintain accurate patient records and charting
• Collaborate with dentists and dental assistants to provide high-quality care
• Adhere to infection control protocols and safety standards

Qualifications

• Virginia Dental Hygienist license
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in dental software and electronic health records
• Commitment to delivering exceptional patient care

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient care and oral health assessment
• Dental radiography and interpretation
• Infection control and sterilization procedures
• Dental hygiene education and counseling
• Use of dental instruments and equipment
