Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Tuesday & Wednesday, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM Night shift

Hours per Week: 60

Roles & Responsibilities

Assess and treat patients with respiratory disorders in acute care settings
Administer respiratory therapies including oxygen, aerosol medications, and chest physiotherapy
Manage mechanical ventilators and monitor patient responses
Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to develop care plans
Perform diagnostic tests such as arterial blood gas analysis and pulmonary function tests
Educate patients and families on respiratory care and equipment use

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of current RRT experience required
Previous travel experience highly preferred
Active New Hampshire respiratory therapy license
Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and NBRC certifications
Must have permanent address outside of 50-mile radius (travel requirement)

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Proficiency with mechanical ventilation and respiratory equipment
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and protocols
