Roles & Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms on telemetry units
• Assess, plan, and deliver high-quality nursing care to patients
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Respond quickly to changes in patient condition and initiate appropriate interventions
• Document patient care accurately and maintain comprehensive records
• Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, and discharge plans

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Virginia
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Experience in telemetry or acute care nursing is a plus
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Knowledge & Skills

• Cardiac rhythm interpretation and monitoring
• Patient assessment and vital sign monitoring
• Medication administration and IV therapy
• Electronic health record (EHR) documentation
• Effective communication and collaboration
• Rapid response and emergency intervention skills
