Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, resident-centered nursing care in an assisted living/long-term care environment
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and document thoroughly
• Assess resident condition and communicate changes to the care team promptly
• Collaborate with nursing staff, social services, and families to develop individualized care plans
• Support activities of daily living and promote independence and dignity
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection control best practices

Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice or compact RN license as applicable
• Experience or comfort working in long-term care or assisted living settings preferred
• Ability to meet required health credentials: MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap, physical/health statement, COVID-19 vaccine, and seasonal influenza vaccine
• Successful completion of the facility's Trinity 10 Panel drug screen
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team-focused environment

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of long-term care nursing standards and resident-centered care
• Medication administration and documentation skills
• Familiarity with infection control and safe patient handling
• Good clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities
• Comfortable using electronic health records and accurate charting
• Compassionate interpersonal skills for working with residents and families
