Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing setting
• Assess patient conditions and implement individualized care plans
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered
• Monitor and document patient progress and responses to care
• Collaborate with physicians, families, and the healthcare team to ensure optimal outcomes
• Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment for residents

Qualifications

• Current and active RN or LPN license in Maine
• BLS/CPR certification required
• Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or similar setting preferred
• Must comply with facility vaccination and background check requirements
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Compassionate and patient-centered communication
• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and documentation
• Ability to prioritize care and respond calmly in emergencies
• Knowledge of state and federal nursing regulations
