Location: Mount Clemens, Michigan

Start Date: 06-29-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, 36 hours guaranteed per week, every other weekend required

Hours per Week: 60

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to mothers throughout labor and delivery
Support families during the precious postpartum bonding period
Monitor and nurture newborns in the nursery setting
Collaborate with physicians and care teams to ensure safe deliveries
Educate new parents on infant care and recovery

Qualifications

Active Michigan nursing license
Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience including postpartum and nursery
Current BLS and ACLS (AHA)
NRP, STABLE, and AWHONN certifications required

Knowledge & Skills

Strong Labor and Delivery expertise
Postpartum and newborn nursery care
Excellent communication and patient education skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
