Shift Type: Per diem (days vary), 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM Day shift

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $30 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to patients in the facility
Perform thorough assessments and document clinical findings accurately
Administer medications and treatments safely while following facility policy
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to develop and follow care plans
Communicate clearly with patients and families about care, progress, and needs
Prioritize patient safety and escalate changes in condition promptly
Maintain accurate, timely charting in the electronic health record

Qualifications

Current, active Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse license (applicable to your role) — New Mexico licensure preferred
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or equivalent
At least some recent clinical experience in a similar setting is preferred
Ability to work 12+ hour day shifts as a per diem clinician
Strong communication skills and a patient-centered mindset

Education

Graduate of an accredited nursing program (LPN diploma/Certificate, ADN or BSN for RNs)

Knowledge & Skills

Clinical assessment and monitoring skills
Medication administration and documentation accuracy
Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced clinical environment
Comfortable working with electronic health records and documentation systems
Teamwork, clear communication, and patient advocacy
