Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic radiographic procedures for a variety of patient populations
• Position patients accurately and operate radiographic equipment safely and efficiently
• Ensure images meet clinical standards and troubleshoot technical issues as needed
• Maintain strict radiation safety and infection-control practices for patients and staff
• Document procedures and maintain accurate patient records in the EMR/PACS
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and allied health staff to support patient care
• Provide compassionate patient education and ensure patient comfort during imaging
• Participate in mandatory orientation and ongoing training to stay current with protocols

Qualifications

• RADT classification / Radiologic Technologist credential (required)
• ARRT certification or equivalent (preferred/required as per facility policy)
• California state license or ability to obtain state licensure
• BLS (Basic Life Support) / CPR certification (current)
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a multidisciplinary clinical team
• Excellent communication skills and a patient-centered approach
• Willingness to complete the one-week site orientation

Education

• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or related field (or equivalent)
• ARRT certification (or eligibility) and required state licensure

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of radiographic positioning and imaging techniques
• Familiarity with PACS and electronic medical records
• Understanding of radiation safety principles and ALARA practices
• Ability to assess image quality and apply corrective techniques
• Good clinical judgment, attention to detail, and time management
• Customer-service mindset with strong interpersonal skills
