Candidate Pay Rate: $61 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Prepare patients for imaging with care, explaining procedures and providing support to ease their concerns
Position patients and equipment to capture crystal-clear images like X-rays, mammograms, and CT scans
Champion radiation safety by applying regulations and shielding to protect everyone involved
Evaluate images for top-notch quality and accuracy, ensuring reliable diagnostics
Maintain precise patient records and images in systems for seamless care continuity
Collaborate closely with radiologists and physicians to pinpoint the perfect imaging approach

Qualifications

2 years of Rad Tech experience required
Relevant certifications like ARRT preferred, but applicants without them or with active copies will still be reviewed

Education

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in imaging procedures including X-rays, mammograms, and CT scans
Strong patient care skills for preparation and support
Knowledge of radiation safety regulations and shielding protocols
Proficiency in image evaluation and record keeping
Team collaboration with radiologists and physicians
