Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform portable radiography and fluoroscopic procedures with accuracy and patient-centered care
• Operate and assist with C-arm procedures in the OR and support surgical teams when needed
• Maintain radiation safety protocols and ensure high-quality imaging for diagnosis
• Document exams and patient information accurately in EPIC and complete required charting
• Respond professionally to trauma and urgent imaging needs during nights and on-call shifts
• Collaborate with nursing and allied health staff to optimize patient flow and imaging priorities
• Participate in holiday and call rotations to ensure continuous patient coverage

Qualifications

• ARRT certification required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of radiology experience (portable and fluoro experience strongly preferred)
• Experience with portable X-ray and fluoroscopy; C-arm and OR experience highly desirable
• Familiarity with EPIC charting system
• Willingness to work nights, participate in call and holiday rotations
• Candidates must NOT have been employed (full-time, part-time, or PRN) with CommonSpirit/CHI/Dignity within the past year

Education

• BSN not required

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of radiographic positioning and imaging techniques
• Proficiency operating portable X-ray units and fluoroscopy equipment
• Competence with C-arm operation and sterile procedures in the OR environment
• Understanding of radiation safety and infection control best practices
• Comfortable using EPIC for documentation and orders
• Good communication skills for interacting with patients and multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to perform under pressure in acute care and trauma settings
