Pharmacy Technician – UHC Staffing

Pharmacy Technician

Location: Durango, CO

Start Date: 06-15-2026

End Date: 09-14-2026

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Variety of 10-hour shifts, including: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM, Monday-Friday, 10:30 AM - 9:00 PM, Saturday-Sunday and Holidays, 8:30 AM - 6:00 PM. Every other weekend required.

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $34 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver Pyxis medications to hospital service areas
Manage Pyxis inventory and perform outdate tasks
Conduct crash cart checks and refills
Provide phone triage support
Participate in sterile compounding activities

Qualifications

Current Pharmacy Technician certification (CPhT)
Current Colorado Technician License (CO Technician License)
Experience with sterile compounding and hospital pharmacy operations
Strong communication and organizational skills

Education

High school diploma or equivalent required

Knowledge & Skills

Sterile compounding
Pyxis deliveries and inventory management
Crash cart checks and refills
Phone triage
Hospital pharmacy operations
