Roles & Responsibilities

• Dispense community and outpatient prescriptions accurately and compassionately
• Process patient prescription orders and ensure proper documentation in Epic Willow Ambulatory
• Support bedside discharge medication processes so patients leave with confidence
• Assist pharmacists with medication management services and immunization delivery
• Perform sterile compounding tasks when required (preferred experience helpful)
• Communicate clearly with patients and care teams to resolve questions and improve outcomes
• Maintain pharmacy workflow, inventory awareness, and adherence to safety/regulatory protocols

Qualifications

• Current unencumbered Certified Oregon Pharmacy Technician license (required at time of submission)
• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• Epic Willow Ambulatory experience (required)
• Outpatient/retail pharmacy experience preferred (examples: Rite Aid, Walgreens, etc.)
• Sterile compounding experience preferred
• Successful completion of a Medical Pharmacy Technician course preferred
• Immunization services experience a plus
• Pre-employment/post-offer drug screen required prior to start

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Completion of Medical Pharmacy Technician course preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Pharmacy dispensing and community/outpatient pharmacy operations
• Medication management and discharge medication processing
• Patient prescription processing and documentation best practices
• Familiarity with Epic Willow Ambulatory workflow
• Sterile compounding principles (preferred)
• Clear patient communication and collaboration with clinical staff
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
