Candidate Pay Rate: $35 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for orthodontic procedures
- Assist the orthodontist during patient appointments, ensuring smooth workflow
- Take and develop dental radiographs as needed
- Maintain accurate patient records in the dental software system
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post‑treatment care
- Sterilize and organize equipment following infection‑control protocols
Qualifications
- Orthodontic certification (required)
- Dental Assistant certification or equivalent experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced clinical environment
- High school diploma or GED; additional dental education preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of orthodontic procedures and terminology
- Proficiency with dental imaging and charting software
- Understanding of infection control standards
- Basic knowledge of dental materials and instruments
- Excellent organizational and time‑management abilities
