Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for orthodontic procedures
• Assist the orthodontist during patient appointments, ensuring smooth workflow
• Take and develop dental radiographs as needed
• Maintain accurate patient records in the dental software system
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post‑treatment care
• Sterilize and organize equipment following infection‑control protocols

Qualifications

• Orthodontic certification (required)
• Dental Assistant certification or equivalent experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced clinical environment
• High school diploma or GED; additional dental education preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of orthodontic procedures and terminology
• Proficiency with dental imaging and charting software
• Understanding of infection control standards
• Basic knowledge of dental materials and instruments
• Excellent organizational and time‑management abilities
