Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the orthodontist with patient preparation and instrument setup
• Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment
• Take and develop dental impressions and digital scans
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post‑treatment care
• Manage appointment scheduling and patient flow efficiently
• Ensure accurate documentation in the practice management system

Qualifications

• Certified Orthodontic Dental Assistant or equivalent orthodontic certification
• Prior experience in an orthodontic office preferred
• Strong knowledge of dental radiography and infection control protocols
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced clinical setting

Knowledge & Skills

• Orthodontic procedures and appliance handling
• Dental software (e.g., Denticon) and charting
• Infection control and OSHA standards
• Patient education techniques
• Team collaboration and time management
