Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist with patient preparation and instrument setup
• Take and develop dental radiographs following safety protocols
• Maintain a clean and sterile operatory environment between patients
• Document patient information accurately in the electronic health record
• Provide patients with post‑procedure instructions and compassionate care

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Dental Assistant certification (DA or CDA) preferred
• Current Wisconsin dental assistant license or eligibility
• 1+ year of dental assisting experience is a plus
• Strong communication, organization, and multitasking abilities

Knowledge & Skills

• Infection control and sterilization procedures
• Dental radiography techniques
• Dental charting and electronic record systems
• Patient comfort and chairside assistance
• Basic dental anatomy and terminology
