Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist with patient care and treatment preparation
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
• Take and develop dental radiographs
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices
• Maintain accurate patient records and charting
• Support the dental team in a fast-paced pediatric environment

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Dental Assistant certification preferred
• Experience in pediatric dentistry or child care
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Ability to work efficiently in a team setting

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient care and comfort techniques
• Sterilization and infection control protocols
• Dental software and charting systems
• Radiographic imaging and interpretation
• Basic dental procedures and instrumentation
• Team collaboration and communication
