Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide thorough dental prophylaxis and cleanings for patients
• Take and develop dental radiographs as needed
• Document patient medical histories and oral health assessments
• Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
• Assist the dentist with procedures and ensure proper infection control
• Maintain accurate patient records and follow-up appointments

Qualifications

• Current Pennsylvania Dental Hygiene license
• DPH certification or equivalent
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail‑oriented with strong organizational abilities
• Minimum 1 year of clinical dental hygiene experience preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Oral health assessment and screening
• Prophylaxis and scaling techniques
• Dental radiography and image processing
• Patient education and counseling
• Infection control and OSHA compliance
