Candidate Pay Rate: $35 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist orthodontists during procedures to ensure smooth patient care
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment areas
- Take and develop dental X-rays as directed
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and orthodontic care
- Maintain accurate patient records and chairside documentation
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or equivalent preferred
- Active Dental Assistant license or registration in Maryland
- Experience in orthodontic or pediatric dentistry is a plus
- Radiology certification (X-ray) required
Education
- Completion of an accredited dental assisting program
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of orthodontic procedures and instruments
- Excellent patient communication and chairside manner
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Proficiency in dental software and record-keeping
