Roles & Responsibilities

• Greet patients and take vital signs including blood pressure and oxygen saturation to ensure safe care
• Assist with nitrous oxide and IV sedation during oral surgery procedures, keeping patients calm and comfortable
• Capture panoramic X-rays for precise pre-operative evaluation and treatment planning
• Support wisdom tooth surgery by preparing the operatory, passing instruments, and maintaining a sterile field
• Provide clear post-operative instructions to patients, promoting smooth recovery and patient satisfaction
• Document patient information accurately and update dental records as needed
• Help with sterilization and infection control to maintain a safe clinical environment

Qualifications

• Current Dental Assistant certification or license as required by the state
• Hands-on experience with nitrous oxide and IV sedation monitoring
• Proficiency in taking panoramic X-rays
• Knowledge of oral surgery procedures, including wisdom tooth extractions
• Strong communication skills and a caring, patient-first approach
• Ability to work efficiently and adapt in a fast-paced clinical setting
