Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality MRI scans on a GE 1.5T magnet, ensuring excellent image acquisition for accurate diagnoses
• Prioritize patient safety and comfort, conducting screenings and following MRI safety protocols
• Operate imaging equipment and troubleshoot basic technical issues to maintain workflow
• Document procedures and patient information accurately in Meditech to support clinical continuity
• Collaborate with radiology team and interdisciplinary staff to optimize patient care and throughput
• Maintain clean, safe exam environments and adhere to infection control and departmental policies
• Assist in patient positioning and monitoring during studies, adapting to high-acuity cases

Qualifications

• ARRT (MR) certification required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of MRI experience (explicitly listed)
• Experience with GE 1.5T magnets preferred
• Familiarity with Meditech or other electronic documentation systems is a plus
• Ability to work independently in a high-volume, high-acuity environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of MRI safety and screening procedures
• Proficiency operating GE 1.5T MRI systems and performing general MRI scanning
• Skilled in patient positioning and protocol selection for diagnostic quality images
• Competent documentation practices within Meditech or similar systems
• Good communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced hospital setting
