Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform and process portable X-rays using digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment, ensuring diagnostic-quality images
• Unload and transport portable X-ray equipment into facilities to perform exams ordered by physicians
• Perform EKGs as needed and transmit them to a cardiologist for interpretation
• Scan and submit exam paperwork and billing documents daily, following protocol
• Communicate regularly with dispatch and management to coordinate patient visits
• Maintain the vehicle and X-ray equipment to ensure readiness and safety
• Interact professionally with peers, supervisors, and clients to deliver exceptional patient care

Qualifications

• Must maintain required State licenses and/or ARRT Certification
• Valid driver's license in the applicable state and in good standing
• COVID-19 vaccination required (or approved exemption)
• California state license as a Radiologic Technologist
• Ability to push/pull 50-100 lbs, as required for mobile radiography
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Proficient in X-Ray, Digital Radiography (DR), and Computed Radiography (CR)
• EKG acquisition and transmission
• Portable radiography equipment operation
• Infection control and safety practices
• Time management and adaptability to changing caseloads
• Professional communication with patients, facility staff, and dispatch
