Roles & Responsibilities

• Operate MRI equipment to acquire high-quality diagnostic images for a variety of exams
• Ensure patient safety and comfort through clear communication and proper positioning
• Follow MRI safety protocols, including screening and fit testing requirements
• Complete Trinity Skills Checklist and specialty competency testing as part of clinical validation
• Collaborate with radiologists and the care team to prioritize studies and optimize imaging protocols
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, including license and certification verifications
• Perform routine equipment quality checks and report issues to biomedical services

Qualifications

• Current BLS certification (required)
• Active, verifiable license/certification as required by facility policy
• Successful completion of Trinity Skills Checklist and Trinity specialty competency testing
• Up-to-date immunizations and health screenings as listed by facility (COVID-19, MMR, Hep B, influenza, varicella, 2-step PPD or IGRA)
• Ability to pass Trinity 10 panel drug screen and color vision testing
• Comfort and experience working a weekend schedule (Fri/Sat/Sun)

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of MRI safety and patient screening procedures
• Familiarity with MRI scanning protocols and patient positioning
• Attention to detail for image quality and documentation
• Clear, compassionate patient communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with radiologists, technologists and support staff
