Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and oversight to subordinate nursing staff
- Coach, train, and educate staff on proper nursing techniques and procedures
- Provide safe and professional care to residents
- Practice Heritage Place's 'Choices Philosophy of Care'
- Follow safety standards and report/removal of unsafe equipment
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Nursing
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure in Alaska
- 1 year of experience in Long Term Care (preferred)
- BLSP (CPR) certification
Education
- Associate's degree in Nursing
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong assessment and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Knowledge of safety policies and procedures
- Understanding of Heritage Place's 'Choices Philosophy of Care'
