Location: Camden, Maine
Start Date: 09-01-2026
Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: AP shift, Tuesday September 1, 2026, 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM (30-minute meal break)
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $29 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate direct patient care to residents in a skilled nursing setting
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered, ensuring safety and accuracy
- Monitor and document patient vital signs and health status, communicating changes to the care team
- Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans
- Educate patients and families on health management and care procedures
- Maintain accurate, timely medical records and uphold all facility policies and regulations
Qualifications
- Active LPN or RN license in good standing in the state of Maine
- Current CPR/BLS certification (or ability to obtain)
- COVID-19 vaccination or documented medical/religious exemption, as required by facility policy
- Previous experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or acute care is a plus
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to pass a background check and comply with facility credentialing requirements
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of nursing care principles and best practices in geriatric or long-term care
- Medication administration and dosage calculation skills
- Comfort with electronic health records (EHR) and documentation systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interaction with residents, families, and team members
- Ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team
- Time management and prioritization in a fast-paced healthcare environment
