Location: Mount Olive, NC

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per-diem (days vary), 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM day shift

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $28 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care during 12.5-hour day shifts
Perform thorough assessments and communicate changes in patient condition clearly
Administer medications and treatments safely and document care accurately
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to create and follow-care plans
Support patients and families with education, comfort, and emotional support
Maintain compliance with facility policies and uphold professional nursing standards

Qualifications

Active LPN or RN license (eligible to practice in North Carolina)
Per-diem availability and flexibility to work 12.5-hour day shifts
Current basic life support (BLS) certification preferred
Strong communication skills and a patient-first mindset
Previous acute care or long-term care experience is a plus

Education

Graduate of an accredited practical or professional nursing program
High school diploma or GED required

Knowledge & Skills

Solid clinical assessment and documentation skills
Medication administration and basic nursing procedures
Ability to prioritize, multitask, and respond to changing patient needs
Teamwork-oriented with good communication across disciplines
Comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment
