Location: Mount Olive, NC
Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: Per-diem (days vary), 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM day shift
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $28 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care during 12.5-hour day shifts
- Perform thorough assessments and communicate changes in patient condition clearly
- Administer medications and treatments safely and document care accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to create and follow-care plans
- Support patients and families with education, comfort, and emotional support
- Maintain compliance with facility policies and uphold professional nursing standards
Qualifications
- Active LPN or RN license (eligible to practice in North Carolina)
- Per-diem availability and flexibility to work 12.5-hour day shifts
- Current basic life support (BLS) certification preferred
- Strong communication skills and a patient-first mindset
- Previous acute care or long-term care experience is a plus
Education
- Graduate of an accredited practical or professional nursing program
- High school diploma or GED required
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid clinical assessment and documentation skills
- Medication administration and basic nursing procedures
- Ability to prioritize, multitask, and respond to changing patient needs
- Teamwork-oriented with good communication across disciplines
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment
