Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing setting
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians, ensuring accuracy and safety
• Monitor and document patient vital signs, symptoms, and responses to interventions
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Educate residents and families on health conditions, medications, and care plans
• Maintain compliance with infection control, safety, and facility policies

Qualifications

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maine or a compact state - new grads are welcome to apply
• Current BLS/CPR certification (American Heart Association preferred)
• Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or acute care is a plus
• Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or provide a documented religious or medical exemption
• Must bring a state or federal issued ID and wear a photo badge at all times

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Proficiency with medication administration and documentation
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment
