Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: Per diem as needed, 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM (12-hour AP shift)
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $29 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing setting
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians, ensuring accuracy and safety
- Monitor and document patient vital signs, symptoms, and responses to interventions
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Educate residents and families on health conditions, medications, and care plans
- Maintain compliance with infection control, safety, and facility policies
Qualifications
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maine or a compact state - new grads are welcome to apply
- Current BLS/CPR certification (American Heart Association preferred)
- Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or acute care is a plus
- Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or provide a documented religious or medical exemption
- Must bring a state or federal issued ID and wear a photo badge at all times
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency with medication administration and documentation
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
