Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing and long-term care setting
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
- Monitor residents' health, document changes, and communicate with the care team
- Collaborate with nurses and care staff to ensure individualized care plans
- Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment for residents and families
Qualifications
- Active LPN or RN license in the state of Maine
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- COVID-19 vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption
- Previous long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred
- Must be able to provide a state or federal issued identification for facility badging
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking
- Proficient medication administration and documentation
- Effective communication with residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
