Roles & Responsibilities

• Administer IV medications and chemotherapy agents with precision
• Monitor patients for adverse reactions and document findings
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop infusion plans
• Educate patients and families about infusion procedures and safety
• Maintain accurate infusion records and comply with regulatory standards

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse license in Connecticut
• BLS certification
• Chemotherapy/Biotherapy certification
• Experience with infusion therapy preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• IV therapy and medication calculations
• Patient assessment and monitoring
• Documentation and charting
• Infection control practices
• Team collaboration and communication
