Shift Type: Days not specified, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM (Day shift)

Candidate Pay Rate: $16 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate personal care to elderly residents, supporting dignity and independence
Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
Support safe mobility and fall-prevention measures during transfers and ambulation
Monitor residents for changes in condition and promptly report concerns to the nursing team
Document care accurately and timely in the resident chart
Collaborate with nurses and therapists to follow care plans and improve resident outcomes
Engage residents with respectful communication and meaningful social interaction

Qualifications

Current Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) certification (required)
Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willing to obtain
Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and required health screenings
Comfortable with physical aspects of care including lifting and assisted transfers
Strong communication skills and a patient, empathetic approach to elder care

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
GNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

Understanding of elder care best practices and compassion-focused care
Infection control and safe hygiene techniques
Basic charting and documentation practices
Ability to follow care plans and report changes accurately
Teamwork, time management, and strong observational skills
