Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist with endoscopic procedures such as EGD and colonoscopy, ensuring smooth, efficient cases
• Prepare, clean, and sterilize endoscopy instruments and equipment between cases
• Provide procedural support for PEG placements, Bravo placements and dilations
• Document patient care and procedural details accurately in EPIC
• Float between the three endoscopy departments as needed to support workflow
• Maintain a safe, organized environment by following infection control and OR protocols

Qualifications

• BLS certification (required)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in endoscopy or related acute care setting
• Proven ability to tech all basic endoscopy cases (EGD, colonoscopy, PEG, Bravo, dilation)
• Familiarity with EPIC charting systems
• Comfort floating between multiple endoscopy departments and supporting a high-volume unit
• OR scrubs dress code adherence and professional presentation

Knowledge & Skills

• Hands-on experience with EGD and colonoscopy procedures
• Experience or exposure to PEG and Bravo placements and dilations
• Knowledge of endoscopic ultrasound and basic ERCPs (preferred)
• Proficiency with EPIC for accurate charting
• Strong infection control and instrument reprocessing practices
• Ability to support multiple suites in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
