Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive dental hygiene care, including scaling, polishing, and patient education
• Assess patients for oral health risks and develop individualized preventive plans
• Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date patient records using electronic health systems
• Collaborate with dentists and dental assistants to ensure seamless patient care
• Adhere to infection control protocols and uphold the highest standards of hygiene

Qualifications

• Licensed Dental Hygienist in the state of Virginia
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in dental hygiene procedures and patient assessment

Knowledge & Skills

• Dental hygiene techniques (scaling, polishing, fluoride application)
• Patient assessment and risk evaluation
• Infection control and sterilization protocols
• Electronic health record (EHR) documentation
• Team collaboration and patient education
