Emergency Department RN - Level 1 Trauma
Location: Atlanta, GA
Start Date: 09-21-2026
End Date: 01-09-2027
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Night shift, 10-hour shifts, typically 10:00 PM - 8:00 AM, Monday through Friday
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $48 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver rapid, high‑quality emergency care to adult and pediatric patients
- Triage and assess patients in a Level 1 trauma environment
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to implement treatment plans
- Document all care accurately and maintain compliance with credentialing standards
- Utilize BLS, ACLS, and PALS skills to respond to critical situations
- Support patient flow and ensure a safe, efficient emergency department
Qualifications
- Current RN license in Georgia
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (required)
- TNCC and ENPC certifications (preferred)
- Minimum 4 years of combined adult and pediatric emergency nursing experience
- Experience in a high‑volume, Level 1 trauma center preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Emergency nursing assessment and interventions
- Trauma care protocols and rapid response
- Pediatric emergency care best practices
- Effective communication with patients, families, and team members
- Electronic health record documentation
