Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform thorough dental cleanings and prophylaxis to keep smiles healthy
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care techniques
• Take and interpret dental X-rays with precision and care
• Assist the dentist during procedures to ensure smooth patient care
• Document patient treatments and update dental records accurately
• Maintain a sterile, organized, and welcoming clinical environment

Qualifications

• Active Virginia Dental Hygienist license in good standing
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• A gentle touch and a caring attitude toward patients of all ages
• Ability to work effectively as part of a dental team

Knowledge & Skills

• Excellent communication and patient education skills
• Proficiency in dental radiography and infection control protocols
• Experience with electronic dental records and scheduling software
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
