Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional dental hygiene care to patients of all ages
- Perform cleanings and periodontal therapy with precision and care
- Educate patients on oral health and preventive practices
- Document patient care accurately using practice management software
- Collaborate with dentists and staff to ensure a smooth patient experience
Qualifications
- Active Dental Hygienist license in Maryland
- Current CPR certification
- Experience with pediatric patients a plus
- Comfortable using Denticon or similar software
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Education
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program
Knowledge & Skills
- Thorough understanding of dental hygiene procedures and infection control
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy periodontal office
- Patient-focused mindset with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Proficient in digital charting and radiography
