Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate dental hygiene care to patients
- Perform cleanings, oral exams, and preventive treatments
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques
- Sterilize dental instruments and maintain a clean environment
- Collaborate with dentists and dental assistants to ensure quality care
Qualifications
- Active Dental Hygienist license in the state of Virginia (required)
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Previous experience in a dental setting preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficiency in dental hygiene procedures and instruments
- Knowledge of dental software and record-keeping
- Strong interpersonal skills and patient education abilities
- Attention to detail and infection control protocols
