Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during procedures by preparing instruments and materials
• Maintain a clean and sterile treatment environment
• Take and develop dental radiographs as directed
• Document patient information accurately in the electronic health record
• Provide patients with post‑procedure instructions and answer their questions

Qualifications

• Current Dental Assistant certification or equivalent experience
• High school diploma or GED
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs

Knowledge & Skills

• Infection control protocols and OSHA standards
• Dental terminology and procedural workflow
• Digital imaging and dental software basics
• Patient comfort techniques and anxiety management
• Inventory management and supply ordering
