Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist pediatric dentists with chairside procedures, ensuring a calm and positive experience for kids
• Prepare and sterilize treatment rooms and instruments to maintain a safe environment
• Take and process dental X-rays as directed
• Educate little patients (and their grown-ups) on fun and easy oral hygiene habits
• Maintain accurate patient records and assist with charting
• Support the dental team with administrative tasks and patient flow

Qualifications

• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or equivalent training and experience
• Current CPR/BLS certification or ability to obtain
• Prior experience with pediatric patients is a big plus
• Comfortable using dental software and digital radiography
• Positive, patient, and compassionate attitude with children

• Chairside assisting and four-handed dentistry
• Infection control and OSHA standards
• Radiography techniques and safety
• Pediatric behavior management
• Electronic health records (EHR) systems
• Clear communication and teamwork
